Veterans Day Weekend activities:
Anniversary Dinner – Saturday, November 9th, doors open 5:30 for social time, meal at 6:00, Speakers at 7:00, dance at 8:00’ish. The reservations for the Post Anniversary Dinner on Saturday, November 9th, need to be made by November 1st.

Requirement for attendance: Have current membership of American Legion Post 233. Dues are $35, in case you have not paid. Disregard the amount on the form letter you received. It is wrong. Each member and one guest are free of charge. Find your membership card. We will check it upon your entrance through the front doors. Additional guests are $15 each.

Sunday, November 10th: 10:15am “Honoring Our Veterans”, Peachcrest Christian Church, 4100 Rosebud Road, Loganville. Program to honor Veterans: home cooked meals, desserts. Send reply to commander@gapost233 by 10-20-24. I need your name and number of guests attending.

Monday, November 11th: City of Loganville Veterans’ Day ceremonies. American Legion Post 233, 10:00-11:30am. Details are forthcoming.

Saturday, November 16th: The ALR is going to the War Veterans’ Home in Milledgeville. You do not have to be a Rider to go assist and visit the veterans there at the WVH. All are welcome and encouraged to go. See one of the ALR members at the Anniversary Dinner. This group of dedicated Legionnaires is one of the most active and organized groups of Post members.
