Membership Requirements

The membership requirements for the American Legion Riders are very straightforward. To become a member, you must:

·  be a current member in good standing of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, or Sons of the American Legion

·  be the registered owner or spouse of owner for a street legal motorcycle (2-wheeled or 3-wheeled) (or child/grandchild under 18 of a current Rider member)

·  Must have current motorcycle insurance, driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement (or learner’s permit not to exceed 1 year) & obey traffic laws

·  Pay dues, complete the membership application, and provide proof of license endorsement, registration, and insurance
